Overview
The Sustainability Investing Team (SI) produce research and analytics for individual funds and client portfolios to develop libraries of outputs. The intern will support the team in the delivery of SI Team Accountabilities and the ongoing development of the SI Teams outputs and other ad hoc projects and initiatives as required.
Support SI Team colleagues, towards the following:
- Ongoing refinement, maintenance, and management of sustainability due diligence research instruments, including handling of secondary referrals of Manager queries, review and publication of Manager submissions.
- Management of other data sourcing, including Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions data and other Sustainability KPIs, channels and internal handling. Conduct analysis and produce reports on insights from survey data.
- Sustainability-related due diligence on and production of reports on Funds and Managers as.
- Analysis and production of reports on Clients Portfolios using Albournes Sustainable Investing Data, Analytics and Research.
- Production, presentation or delivery as appropriate of Sustainable Investing Advisory services to clients.
- Provision of training, advice and guidance to colleagues, and otherwise contribute to the production, ongoing development and quality assurance of Sustainable Investing outputs by other Teams or Functions.
- Maintaining Albournes information systems with accurate and timely information, including meeting notes, recommendations, presentations and other board material. Ensure that client material is stored in commonly accessible areas as directed.
- Management of the Client interface
- Support of business strategic initiatives as required.
- Coordination of interactions with industry and regulatory bodies
- Production of written and media collateral
- Management of technology projects and related interactions with Technology colleagues.
- Management of Sustainable Investing supplier relationships
- Coordination of the SI Teams interaction with other business functions, including Legal and Compliance; Finance; Client Services Group, Communications Group
- Contribution to the integration of technology tools, including AI, into SI processes
- General administration of the Team and the Teams activities
- Reception cover: answer phones, accept deliveries, welcome guests and offer them refreshments.
- Other ad hoc activities, as directed by line manager or their delegate.
Requirements:
- Strong written communication skills
- Qualitative and quantitative research skills or willingness and aptitude to develop such capabilities.
- Proactive self-starter, proficient time management and multi-tasking
- Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
- Systems literacy (Excel, ppt, Word, Outlook).Facility with Power BI advantageous, but not essential.
