Overview

At Mars we have a responsibility to create a more sustainable future by reducing our social and environmental footprint to create the world we want tomorrow where both our planet and people thrive. Sustainability at Mars encompasses social and environmental aspects and is a multiplier in Mars Snacking’s global strategy.

You will own Sustainability Program Management and will be accountable for assessing the business impact of legislation and Mars’ commitments. This is in regards to sustainability issues and creating strategies to respond to potential legislation and commitments to mitigate risks, but, also create opportunities for Mars Wrigley to demonstrate its leadership in these areas across the region.

You will accelerate impact and value creation from MARS Sustainability investments by defining and developing strategic partnerships along the value chain. This is a new role to Mars so a key aspect will be to define and implement a sustainability structure in a matrix organization and to embed sustainability capabilities and mindset within the organization. You will be part of the regional sustainability team and report to the Regional Sustainability Director.
