Overview

As a Marketing Manager within BCG’s Climate & Sustainability (C&S) Practice Area (PA), you will support with the development and execution of our marketing strategy to help build our C&S positioning in the market and strengthen client relationships. You will have a global responsibility with strong visibility to C&S leadership, independently managing the execution of a broad portfolio of marketing efforts across all marketing channels. The team is seeking a motivated individual with a strong interest in Climate & Sustainability.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist in the formulation of the annual PA Marketing plan, incorporating insights on business priorities, past performance analyses, and understanding of market trends.
  • Engage with senior internal stakeholders to understand business requirements, and advise and support them in the translation of these needs into effective marketing actions.
  • Support budget planning and management to make effective use of this across multiple workstreams and initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development of an editorial strategy that supports the business and marketing goals.
  • Manage the content publication pipeline, collaborating with stakeholders on new intellectual property and determining appropriate formats and channels for dissemination.
  • Brief creative and design teams, and aid in the creation of engaging multimedia content in conjunction with editorial teams for channels such as the web, social media, and email.
  • Manage the bcg.com C&S presence, helping to refresh narratives and content, and track performance metrics to optimize campaigns.
  • Oversee the distribution of content across channels in collaboration with the Campaign marketing team, and lead performance measurement and reporting to guide continuous enhancements.
  • Own the delivery of C&S events and event sponsorships, across audience acquisition, logistics management, on-the-ground support, and pre and post event comms.
  • Coordinate with various other PA marketing teams and external partners (e.g. coalitions, institutions, clients, or nonprofits) to assist in the execution of joint initiatives.
  • Liaise with central marketing functions including PR, editorial, web, social and paid media teams to integrate their expertise into C&S marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate with regional and country marketing teams and stakeholders on the global C&S marketing plan, and amplify local marketing initiatives on global C&S channels.
  • Support the PA offer teams and topic leaders to plan and deliver marketing activity to drive commercial engagement.
  • Coach and help develop junior members of the team, including managing the Marketing Assistant.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

  • 6-8 years of relevant Marketing experience in Consulting or Professional Services
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Strong interest in Climate & Sustainability in business (experience is an advantage)
  • Leading teams or defined work areas with varied level of complexity; coaching others
  • Ability to independently resolve diverse problems and establish clear guidelines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven analytical capabilities
  • Highly professional, pro-active and flexible attitude
  • Ability to perform under pressure and demonstrate presence and maturity even in high-pressure situations
  • Experience working with digital marketing tools such as CRM, Marketo, Salesforce
  • Advanced proficiency in Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
