Overview
Are you passionate about sustainability and eager to drive change in the circular economy? Itero is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sustainability and ESG Intern for up to three months from June. You will play an important role as part of our team working to develop plastics recycling through innovative chemical recycling technology. Collaborating closely with the Sustainability Manager and finance team, you will work on projects to enhance our environmental, social, and governance (ESG) work. The role is a paid role with hybrid, flexible working at our offices in Borough, London.

Key responsibilities:
- Process and develop ESG Data in keeping with reporting requirements and working closely with the technical and finance teams, including for Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on sustainability and ESG initiatives.
- Conduct research on sustainability trends, policies, and sustainability reporting requirements.

- Creative thinker with a strategic approach to communications and problem-solving.
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize effectively.
- Comfortable working autonomously with minimal supervision.
Desired experience:
- Fluency in professional English, with exceptional copywriting skills.
- Demonstrated interest in sustainability and the circular economy.
- Academic background in a technical field, including but not limited to engineering and/or scientific fields.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
